Founded in 2026, The Standard Foundation was founded by artists from all around Northeastern PA with many decades of experience in both art and education professionally, to serve a wider community to expand access to arts education, support emerging artists, and bring high-quality theatre experiences to students, families, schools, and communities throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to explore their creativity. The Standard Foundation was born from a commitment to bridge opportunity gaps in arts education, ensuring that the performing arts are accessible to all, empowering the next generation of artists in our region.

While the Standard Foundation is newly established, the experience behind it is not. Its all-volunteer board brings years of expereince in arts education, youth programming, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement, and works with experienced teaching artists and community partners. In Summer 2026 alone, programs led by members of the Foundation's leadership served more than 200 young people.
