Our Focus

The Standard Foundation provides access to best-in-class performing arts experiences for underserved children and young people in Northeastern Pennsylvania by funding scholarships, mission-aligned organizations, and collaborating with community partners.

We believe the arts teach confidence, creativity, communication, collaboration, empathy, leadership, and problem-solving skills that reach far beyond the stage. Therefore, we partner with those who share our understanding that the arts are foundational to the growth of resilient, healthy, happy children and ultimately a more flourishing region.

Over time, the Foundation hopes to support a broad range of arts education initiatives, artist development programs, outreach efforts, and collaborative projects that advance arts access and performance opportunities throughout the region. Our goal is to support performances, workshops, residencies, and arts experiences that are financially geographically, and culturally accessible to more people.

School Partnerships

We bring performing arts workshops and educational programs led by professional teaching artists directly to local schools, partnering with educators who want to give their students the opportunity to expand their horizons.
